Prairie Bomb! - How hard is it to get?

    I have a cousin who lives in Copeland, OK who knows literally nothing about beer but I've been kicking around the idea of trying to get him to send me some Prairie Bomb.

    How hard it is to get in those parts? Would it be asking a lot of a complete novice to try to find some?

    My understanding is that it's a matter of timing. Usually sells out in about a week or two. Try to find a few bottle shops near where he lives, follow them on Facebook, Twitter, whatever. When they announce they have some in stock, boom! Go get it!

    Copeland is up by Tulsa if I'm correct and I believe a new batch of bomb is set to be released on Tueesday!
    Have him hit up the Biergarten in Jenks or call around to a few places in Tulsa.

    The last shipment sold out most places by 3 pm the day it was released, and virtually everywhere by the second day. No other prairie is like this. People hoard it for trades etc. It's the hardest one to get. Most places have a limit of 2 bottles. Lots of driving around involved.

    Glad I didn't love this one... I had it on tap at two different places.. thought it was good, but nothing to chase after for me.... key being me... I know others love it.

    I'm not arguing with your palate, but I didn't like Bomb nearly as much on draught as I did from the bottle.

    Yeah to me it seemed more layered in the bottle, more subtleties. I tend to find that with most higher ABV beers, I like those better bottled almost across the board...

    Definitely a shit-ton of coffee on draught as compared to the bottle (pink wax). Bottle was much more complex.

    Just send it all to Houston, I mean it will all sell. So chase is guaranteed to make all of his money within the end of the day.

    It will sell out anywhere he sends it in Texas. Granted the #HoustonHorders will probably buy it all in a matter of minutes.

    Is there any Pirate Bomb still findable on shelves in OKC? I see a ton of it on trade pics and have some people in that area until mid Feb. for work.
