Finally SUCKS! Hunterdon 1/13/14 release list

thanks, that's what I was wondering. I didn't love the last sixer I got of Sucks this year (from NY State) from earlier in December so I'm passing on this.

 

There should be a 3-digit number on the neck stating which # day of the year it was bottled.

 

I have seen the same batch in multiple store ... 361st day of 2013. As for the post about the hops fading...in 24 days??? LOL

 

I can state unequivocally that Sucks made on the 361st day in the 2013 year of our Lord tastes GREAT!!!!!!!!

 

I agree. My case with the 361 date is amazing. And to those saying you will pass because it's too old, just how fresh do you expect to get a west coast breweries product here in NJ? And I doubt you will find any east coast IPA's/DIPA's on the shelves that are less than 3 weeks from bottling date.

 

Mine was bottled on the 361st day !!! Northern NJ. Sooooo delish

 

I guess the one bottled ten days earlier on the 351st day is a bad batch then. I've been drinking IPAs for many years and I know an outdated malt bomb when I taste it. I'm pretty much forcing them down.

 

The Sucks I bought is dated 351 and I think it tastes like a damn good IPA! Maybe it would be even better a few days old, but its not bad at all.

 

I'll be buying another 6 pack of Sucks but at a different store. maybe this store stored them in dramatically hop-altering conditions or something?

all I know is that I had Hop Ranch and Sucks side by side last night, just to verify my taste for hops wasn't faded, and Sucks was malt malt malt.
