I'll be adding a spreadsheet to this thread in the next day or two to fully gauge interest. I've been getting BM's about getting it started, so there seem to be at least a few other crazy people willing to open bottles w me even despite the copious amounts of great (and free) beer already present. Probably limit it to 25-30 people to keep it manageable on my end

I definitely plan on bottle sharing, but I have no idea what place sounds like the best time throughout the weekend to bring the lions share. I'll have bottles wherever I go and will be ready to pop a bottle at a moment's notice. Since I live in Ohio, I'll be more concerned with the tap offerings during the 6 hours (11-5) of all you can drink CCB. Sort of the same thing with Peg's on Friday. I'm going to be like a fat kid at a candy shop at Peg's and CCB just starring at the magical Florida elixirs. :grimacing::grinning: I don't know if this has been covered or not, but will CCB be kicking every one out at 5pm (except for the taproom)? It would be fantastic to leave and grab dinner then come back around 7pm and continue the festivities with a huge bottle share. Any one staying at the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore hotel and putting on a bottle share? I'll need more people to drink some fresh growlers like Columbus Bodhi and Willoughby Peanut Butter Cup Coffee Porter! 64oz growlers... none of that ***** 32oz stuff! I should have some loons, New Glarus fruit beers, Dark Horse 4 Elf offerings, Hoppin Frog brewery only releases, Thirsty Dog Wulver and some other Ohio local stuff too. Cheers!

Sounds like the Hilton is the place to be, might end up staying there now.

    1. CCB doesn't kick anyone out. They are open til like 12am I think and people just stay and wander around until then
    2. there will be a ton of food trucks serving great food all day so no need to go to dinner.
    3. I was going to try and do something at the Hilton but I think just showing up at CCB after Peg's would be better.

There was a bottle share at the Hilton last year but I can't find anyone who was there that can tell me where they did it. Idk if they will let us use a conference room or not. If someone wants to offer up their room to a bottle share I'm sure people will show up!

We tried to get a room there last year, but they wanted a ton of money. I don't think the share ever happened, at least not in the original planned way and time.

I'm reading/following too many threads...was it ever decided where this bottle share would be & when? My wife & I are staying at the Hilton Westshore from Thursday the 6th through Sunday the 9th.

The fest will be over at 5pm and I'm not sure if they will allow people to continue drinking in the parking lot. The tasting room will be open but will be limited to 125 people and they will have someone at the door keeping track. It may be difficult to go out to dinner, come back and still get in. I'm just assuming it's going to be packed. It would be great to continue popping bottles on the grounds if they will allow that. I'm also at the Hilton, so that will work for me as well.

You lunatics need to come off the heavy stouts for this tasting, if you are trying to kill me just show me some pics of Madonna's vampire arms. I have added an American Wild Ale in protest.

This is my 3rd year in a row going and I have never had a problem getting into the tasting room after Hunahpu's Day. A lot of people leave bc they have been drinking all day in the sun. I haven't ever seen anyone at the door keeping count. Of course anything is possible.

Sorry, so just to clarify, whatever time you show up for Huna day they'll let you on the grounds so there essentially is no "line".

I was told they would have someone at the door counting doing a one out, one in thing once they hit capacity to keep everything kosher with the fire marshal.

If they do this it would be awesome. I took one look in the tasting room at Huna last year and kept on walking. Not putting my big ass in that shit show. But if they limit it to fire code, them it may be a good thing to go in and check it out.

I'm just hoping the bathroom/Port-o-potty situation is better than last year.
