How is this stuff? It's been sitting around my local shop for a while.

Left work early and am trying to get some schedules done, not that it will matter since second, third and most likely first shift won't be coming in. Oh well another lesson in futility. This will make it a little easier to cope...

Time for beer #2. Snow not bad yet. Been drinking a lot of sucks lately so time to pay homage to the beer shortage that caused such an awesome brew to come about...

I wasn't impressed. I love CC, and I expected some spice from the chilies. I did taste them a little as the beer warmed up, but the overall taste was less than stellar.

Snow day! The roads around my neck o the woods don't get plowed or salted. Looks like I'm in for a while. Slowly slipping into cabin fever with this brew.

I hope I can make it to work tomorrow:rolling_eyes:.
    Blasting this!

    Cheers!

Bowling was canceled due to the impending snowpocalypse. Well, I was planning on drinking Longhammers tonight, so I'm going to drink some Longhammers!

Nah, just screwing. I'm drinking an Oaked Arrogant Bastard (bait and switch! bait and switch!).

A toast to the snow that will possibly/maybe keep me at home tomorrow morning (I can hope):

Maybe if I wore a smaller watch my wrist wouldn't look so girly.

Looks like a solid "six inches" of snow already! :grinning:

As to the beer: it's good, it's complex, but it's not great. It's a week away from the Enjoy By date, but it's an oaked strong ale, so I would think it holds up fine. I think it's the hop profile: it's very bitter, but with little hop flavor. Hopefully more of the really interesting molasses and vanilla notes come out better as it warms.

Here's the Kind Ryed from earlier. Cloudy, but no floaties.

Playing piano earlier, so this seemed appropriate. A little faster tempo than I prefer, but still a fantastic song. Brief and minimalist. All three Gymnopedies really redefined how I approached the instrument.

This piece is fitting while watching Janus do her thing outside. Cheers!

Wrapping myself around one of these. Why? Because I suddenly found the need. Well, I have fridge full of beer. So this storm can take all the time she needs.
