Yeah, Polar Night is a real winner. A year-rounder no less. I saw the floaties too. They didn't really bother me since it was so damn good. I think those guys are gonna be alright.

Saw some of the Roughtail guys at a liquor store yesterday telling the owner about a bourbon barrel Russian imperial stout that will come out in the next month or two. Excited to see what they've got coming in the future.

Does anyone know if/when we will be getting Avery Maharaja this year?

Tried the Black Mesa Double ESB (contract brewed by O'Fallon), well worth a go...

If you can get past the wax! That thing was impossible to open!

Seemed a bit pricey to me at 12.99 a bottle around here

I agree with the wax and the price! Not a bad beer, but not going to buy another one. I am really enjoying Polar Night by Roughtail. Love the hops in it!

I bought it with a bunch of other beer, so that kind of got lost in the wash. Yeah that needs to be at in a few bucks cheaper to be sure. I picked up the Abyss a few bucks cheaper for God's sake...

Yeah not a fan of the wax thing, but they took it even bit further.

I couldn't agree more with your decision here--and the outcome. The Birra is a real nice saison-style beer. Great balance and nice nose. A beer that shows restraint and finesse. Excellent.

I'm looking forward to that as well. Stoked Avery is back.

I know Wes Welker's on Memorial has it on tap.

Any places around the OKC downtown area that will not have limits on Bomb! tomorrow? I usually get mine in Norman, but I'll be in OKC until around 12 tomorrow. Just looking for 5-6, nothing too insane.

Had the pleasure of "hacking" that hard wax off the bottle yesterday. Stuff was on there like tooth enamel. Thought we were going to have to remove it saber style. Great freakin' beer though.

Great beer but that price tag. I don't know if I'll purchase another because of it. I could see a 9.99 tag being more realistic.

My buddy brought the Black Mesa. I saw it was $12.99 which is certainly not cheap, but there always seems to be a premium for high gravity. I've paid way more for way less.

I appreciate and want to support regional breweries but for the first beer widely available from a new brewery, I don't want to have to invest such a large portion of my beer budget.

So BOMB is dropping around the state. Don't think we'll see any here in Ponca. Am I SOL if I don't get to Tulsa until Saturday?
