I don't know, but I saw the carnage. Lot of money down the drain...

It was Silver Eagle though, not Favorite Brands from what I know.

So for real. Are we getting BCBCS, BCBBW, and Backyard rye? I'm about to just trade for some.

I hope so, but wouldn't bank on it. That's why I just traded for it.

I would like to get some more Coffee though...

It's in Texas but distribution is slow for whatever reason. Just look at how Firestone Walker XVII finally hit shelves this week when it actually was released back in November.

As long as there are rules and we get in and out in a certain time and then surf a lot after and do the heist wearing dead president masks and let Keanu Reeves in the group then I'm in. But if it's anything like Point Break, then I'm out

But really booooo not having BCBS variants (yet??)

They're all delicious, and will be worth the wait.

The Barleywine is goddamned great. The Coffee is the best coffee beer I've ever had, probably (but dear lord do I love Bomb!). Really wanting to try Backyard and Prop... probably will wind up toasting some coconut in an effort to replicate a fresh copy of the latter.

Backyard was good, and definitely not as sweet as Bramble, but still too much medicinal berry flavor for me. Prop is the best variant I've had (and I've had em all except Vanilla) and I would go out of my way to get another.

Will this be another 10 am release?..

Can we ask them to delay it if we get the "wintry mix" they're calling for thursday night?

I really want some 17 (merkin was good, but it's got nothing on parabola), but I'm not willing to risk my life and my car to drive the 7 miles to get it....

Wintery mix? Delay for that? It wont stick to roads, it should not cause traffic....more importantly, it won't happen. This is Texas.

Is this going to be difficult to get? I remember shelves full of BBQ when it was released.

Who knows. It was last year but with everything that is out and coming out it could sit a bit. Look at Imperial Stout... I cannot believe that is sitting.

Specs on Walnut Hill has 5 cases of Rye on Rye. And if you think it's crazy that Imperial Stout was sitting, when I was in Massachusetts last month I saw Saison Brett and last year's Rye on Rye sitting on the shelf too. In August, I found Love Child #3 doing the same thing up there.

rye on rye started hitting austin last week. It's a very tasty brew, but I cant help thinking some more time in the bottle would make it so much smoother.

This is one beer I feel I know very well. I've had bottles since 2010 and IMO this beer peaks between years 2 and 3 (closet aged). The 2010 I had at the beginning of 2013 is probably the best rye barrel aged beer I've ever had. Rye is my thing, so I've had a good amount.

I love that you wrote closet aged! Ok I wasn't really seeking it, but based on this info I'll go pick up 1 or 2 at Hall's today. Good looking out
