I hope she drove home good hopped up on all them pills. Nice strategy
Next time why not bring Mommy with so she can grab 3 bottles, then you will have 9 bombers of limited release beer so you can trade one, drink one and hoard the other 7 in your cellar.

Good sir, how is what he does any of your damn business? Please stop doubling down on your faulty biases and just let it go.

Between this thread and the Darkness one, I can only conclude that imperial stouts bring out the worst in people...

Man this is some crazy $hit. A live body waits in line, pays cash for a beer and people are pissed as to what her purpose is? I don't give a feck if she drinks it, trades it, sells it, gives it to her boyfriend/husband or takes a bath in it. Did she not stand in line and pay for it?

If so, it's hers and she can do whatever she wants with it - is that not what ownership entitles you too?

He and his girlfriend are 2 individuals who will be drinking the beer they purchased. Even if they were trading that's their choice. What makes each of these individuals less deserving of the beer they purchased than anyone else? This in no way is muling since the purchasers will be drinking/trading their own beer and even if it was, who cares? The only mistakes made were her being a female and not drinking at a bar at 3 in the afternoon and people being presumptive about anyone without a beard buying beer.

*EDIT: wrong person quoted. stupid phones

bottomline is you should have gotten there earlier if you wanted to be guaranteed bottles. I showed up 2 hours after the release, was shutout but not disappointed. As long as the bottles aren't being flipped for a cash profit I have no problem.

Did everyone miss this post? she is going to drink her beer, but cant at the moment due to medication interaction. All this banter is based on the false assumption that she was a hoarding mule. She wasnt.

...and x2 to 'IS's brings out the pulp fiction quality butthurt'

and edit (at this point...) IBTL!

I purchase my beer & my wife's beer. Sometimes she even pulls out the card and pays for both of ours. Whatever.

This thread started out with the release of an incredible beer and turned into a bunch of adults complaining. Do Twin City BAs really have nothing better to do? Go to the tap room and buy a glass if you really want this shit. Yes, it is cool to have bottles, but sometimes you can't get every release that comes out. At least you have the opportunity to try it. Between this and the darkness thread, the midwest forum is looking awesome right now. Let's keep it up, guys.

Man this is nothing compared to what I did on Darkness Day. Between me, my girl, her sister and my best friend we scored 22 bottles. None of them like Darkness, in fact they hate Stouts. Go me!!!

I think the Midwest forum is the worst regional forum because of all the fighting, complaining, and tsk-tsking that goes on here.
