Central Waters 16th Anniversary Party

If i get there about 1pm should I be able to avoid long lines for beer pickup? I want to get the beer and get it back to my hotel. I went to buy another ticket and it was gone so It looks like only 8 beers for my brother in law and myself but I figure that will be good.

 

I'd think you'd be about the first one in line if you show up at 1pm. Guaranteed bottles and they go on sale at 2:00, just get there at 1:55.

Yep hence the just kidding part. I blame the other guy (incidentally, from Illinois) who wanted me to go up with him at that ungodly hour..

Hahaha, I remember thinking leaving at 10am from Milwaukee was too late, until I heard from him...

 

Knowing we'll all get bottles is pretty sweet. Waiting to see what they pull out of the cellar to sell. Love this party every year!

 

Is it advised we bring our own lawn chairs/blankets to sit on?

Beer would be my suggestion.

Any update on when the final tap list is gonna be released? I been stalking their fb page and so far nothing!

 

No. (a) you don't want to sit on the floor & (b) it's crowded enough already in the brewery, really no place to set up camp. Expect to be milling around all night.

 

FYI They did recently add a large backroom to the brewery where the Great Amherst Beer Festival was held in October. I would expect that most beers will be on tap in that back room, and that it will be a lot less crowded than the 15th anniversary party last year (unless there is double the attendance this time around or something)

The doors open at 3pm, 21 and over, and cash only. ATMs will be onsite. Beer is $4 for a pint of flagships, high end beers will be $4 for 8 oz pours, and 16 and Exodus will be $6 for an 8 oz pour. Please note, we will not be filling growlers during the party.

Bottled of 16 are $15, after 7 pm we will open up sales on a first come, first served basis for any remaining 16 not sold to people already on the pre sell list, with allocations based on what is left over, if any.

Space Ghost bombers are $6 each
Y2K Bombers are $7 each
All 4 packs are $14 each.
