That looks awesome. Love Quads. Have you had their Bourbon Barrel Quad (BBQ)? Which I think is Sixth Glass BBA, not sure. Never tried Boulevard before, but I do have BBQ and Love Child No. 3. Looking forward to both of them. Cheers!

Excited to go to my favorite watering hole as they supposedly had Sculpin on draft (it just arrived in Georgia). Disappointed to find out they were sold out. However, in viewing the menu I spied Stone Enjoy By 02/14/14. Yes please.

Arrogant bastard, almond infused rice, seared prawn and blistered cherry tomato pasta, finished with pabst blue ribbon, Parmesan cheese and half/half.

Spinach and green peas play a cameo.

A lot of you post music. I just heard "Talking Shit About a Pretty Sunset," by Modest Mouse. Perfect for this time of year.

Stranded in LA due to NYC weather, went beer shopping. Pretty stupid that NYC folks can only get FW17 in a raffle, but Whole Foods has stacks of this sitting on their shelves. Freaking delicious, either way.

I'm pretty sure I could contently cap every night with something Lagunitas.. and tonight, Sucks will do fabulously. Cheers, BAs!

    So far tonight:

Haven't had this in about 2 years. Great DIPA! Big tangerine/grapefruit/pineapple with big orange/lemon zest and rind flavors with big pine resin and moderate caramel/bread malts. So delicious.

A very good porter. Nice milk chocolate/cocoa/coffee/toast/roasted malt/caramel/toffee and a bit of fudge flavors. Good robustness and very smooth. Mouthfeel felt maybe a tad thin, but I liked this.

I always love trying these 100 barrel series, because they try some off the radar style and the Bomber is like 6 bucks. Very nice stuff! Caramel/toast/biscuit malts with pear/apple/grape yeast ester with herbal/floral/pepper/clove hop/yeast flavors. Very well balanced and nicely robust. I'd say it fits the Old ale style quite well.

Whiskey BA Tripel. Needed to corkscrew this one off. Something I've never seen (but BA Quads, yes). WOW. Huge pear/apple/apricot/lemon/grape/clove/pepper like the normal Tripel, with huge vanilla and toffee barrel flavors with moderate whiskey/oak presence. The barrel balance is phenomenal and the Tripel counterpart still has plenty of presence. Absolutely delicious.

Right? I swear its smell alone was nearly beergasim worthy. I've got one more, saving it for when the time is right. Enjoy it
