Cbeer's Locals 4 Noobs BIF #2 Hints and Hauls Thread

I have a feeling this is going to be a ton of fun. Thanks for setting this up Cbeer! I'll go first I guess:

My target lives in an awesome area for beer distro (I'm actually jealous). I just recently had a couple beers from a big brewery in this sate and was definitely impressed. Should be a fun challenge to put together a worthy box.

 

I have some good ideas as to what I'm putting in my target's box. There's some definite overlap between his state and Michigan, so the challenge of figuring out what to send has been really fun.

 

My target lives in a state that does not have a NBA or NHL team left in the playoffs.

 

I had this exact question. Thanks for clarification. A little snooping revealed I have access to or have in my possession a couple of beers that my target is interested in, but they aren't really local.

My target lives in the state that my younger sister just moved out of... and another member of this BIF lives in the city she moved to.

 

My target could have had a hockey coach who was at one time a successful defense attorney, until he was caught drunk driving and was forced to start coaching local youth hockey as community service. ***(Fictional)***

 

My target lives in the same state as a brewery that recently had free shipping in its online store on orders.

 

My target lives in the same time zone as I do, but does not have a MLB team in his state, so he won't have to worry about staying up until 1am to watch his local team for the next several nights (unlike me).

 

Very exciting indeed! I already started putting together my target's box, and I'm slighlty jealous?

Time to make some obscure references: My target lives in the state that also bore the author who's works, in opposition to nurture, aided in my achievment of an A in a Literature course my Junior year.

 

My target lives in the city that my dad grew up in. Also, based on a cursory examination of my target's wants, I'm reasonably sure I can put together a box of nothing but wants.

 

My target is over 200 miles away from me and not in the east direction.

 

My target has a want list that reminds me of myself. This will be super fun.

I've already broken one rule of the noob BIF with it...

My box of noobness is headed to a BA in a state that is bordered by water on one side.

 

OK, so I can cross one name off of my "Whose target am I?" list.

Interested to find out which rule you broke. I've got my list of what I'm sending done. Still have a little shopping to do and will send out next week. This is really damn fun.

 

I've got my target's box figured out - tomorrow I purchase (and hopefully ship)!

Hint #2: If I were to hand-deliver my target's box, I would have to drive for just under 2 straight days, and would cross 10 state lines.

 

I just realized I put my list together for the box I'm sending out and that it included ZERO bottles from Bells.
