    ...and that's very accurate, as well. Whether or not one should theoretically able to taste doughnuts is irrelevant; be it the flavor profile or the label, you do taste doughnuts. That whole "powers of the mind" is absolutely not something to overstate; your brain can convince you that you hear, see, taste, and remember things that are 180 degrees out of phase with reality. Ultimately, our consciousness is a slave to whatever our brain allows us to believe, regardless of its intent or catalyzing factor.

    So, yes, doughnuts. :rolling_eyes:

    How 'bout it!, especially when driving a hip, white minivan (:confused: - new company vehicle, it drives like an aircraft carrier compared to my baby parked in the garage at home...oh well, 'something to look forward to on the weekends. :slight_smile:) I was working with my boss all week and a new job, eventually when I'm set free 'would love to take you up on that offer!

    Ha, yes, absolutely. My response? Siouxsie Sue: 1976. Black Sabbath: 1968. Any of the other punk/rock influences (Bauhaus, Bowie) either weren't goth, or came much later. But yes, in a true sense, it is punk influenced, just not as influenced as dark, angry, tri-tone-dominated early heavy metal. :grinning:

    ....not to sidetrack a WBAYDN thread into a tangent on modern music history. Hey, I've been studying music a lot longer than I've been drinking beer! :flushed:
