I hear this reached Milwaukee. I've been stopping into Woodmans in Madison every time I finish work and hoping to see this but so far none. Anybody seen this in Madison? Will this be harder to find than CW BBS?

I saw that Whole foods had one four pack left. Then Otto's on Oakland had 3 bottles of last year and I think like 6 bottles of this year. But that was on Friday so your mileage may vary.

Follow Steve's/Star/Trixie's on FB - they'll likely post when it shows up

Good point. I already follow Steve's but never thought to follow Star and Trixies. Now I am .

Can't wait. I love this beer. I think it's just as good or better than the Bourbon County.

If that's true, I'll be very happy because BCBBW was the best BW I've had period.

I'm sure it'll be here soon enough especially as CW's party has now concluded. Just keep an eye on social media as others have suggested.

It has been in Green Bay for the past week. Drinking as good as always.

Saw lots of it at the Northern Lakes Co-op in Hayward, on Friday. They also had Cosmyk Charlie's and the BA Barleywine from CW.

Madison really seems to be getting shorted with CW distribution this time around.

According to one of the co-owners at the regular bottle sales station at the CW party last weekend, distro to Madison should be about the same as last year.

Amounts of beer distro'd to Madison should be about the same as last year. I'm not sure when exactly, but since Steven's Point got a shipment at the end of last week, I would expect to see it in Madison later this week or early next week. Also, they haven't bottles the bourbon cherry stout yet, so that will be later.

Are they definitely bottling the cherry? I heard from a couple of people at the 16th party (at least one volunteer/staff) that it will be draft-only this year because there was such a limited amount barreled.

The week of January 21, 2013. I bought it and drank it right away on January 24, 2013 last year.

As others had mentioned, the cherry stout would have to been brewed in 2012 when there was a massive cherry sortage. Me thinks we will not see it this year.

On Friday or Saturday AM, one of my friends called CW and asked if bourbon cherry stout would be for sale at the party and was told that it "wasn't bottled yet". The person he talked to on the phone might have been misinformed though. I've read on here that the cherries needed for this year's batch would have come from the crop that had a super low yield the other year, but I thought they added cherries to the barrels over time as the beer slowly evaporates out of the barrels. I dunno - maybe best to call them or ask on Facebook.

This is pure speculaton - One of the suppliers of their cherries suffered a major act of vandalism last fall and lost a crapload of trees. The trees were 3 y/o so I don't know if they were producing or not, but if so, that might have caused unexpected delays

    Again - just speculation.
