Awesome! I originally heard that 3Beans may not come out this year...I will miss it in cans but this might make up for it  When?

Had one yesterday between shoveling and playing pond hockey for the first time in two years. It was delicious. Will have to have the other 3 later this week, but It was real smooth and easy to drink for the high ABV!

Wow. This beer was an awesome surprise. It's much sweeter than your average DIPA. Huge juicy citrus fruit flavor and the mouth feel is unreal. I found a place filling 64oz growlers of it for $8.99. That seems like a crime to me. How much is a 4pack of cans?

I think I paid $11 for a four pack in MA. 64oz growler sounds dangerous. better get a couple of friends for that one

sixpoint is always priced well. everything else in their league is always a buck or two more.

    $12.99 for a 4 pack of 12 ounce cans @ DeCicco's in Ardsley...

If you like Resin - you will like Hi-Res more then just a bit more.

Super tasty 11% DIPA in a can...well done Six Point well done...

I very much prefer resin to hi-res, so this statement is not universal. To my taste resin is perfectly balanced - a masterpiece. Hi-res is interesting and exciting, but in my opinion not as good.

I think it would be more accurate to say, if you like resin, you should definitely try hi-res.

Everything by sixpoint is delicious. They do it right.

also I said earlier in the thread that I wouldn't drink more than one in a row, but I have to confess I'm on number three now and enjoying it much more than number 1. that first one must have been a bad can or something...

Finally had one last night. Nice brew. Quite big! Really nice job hiding all that alcohol. I've had beer with lower abv's that didn't find that level of balance. Well done.

That was my first impression, but it really grew on me. It's definitely a beer that needs a good pour in a proper glass to bring out its depth. If it's poured in a tulip glass with a nice thick head to bring out the aroma the heavy alcohol flavor is balanced out. Also I thought it tasted better very cold. The first one I tried was not far below room temperature and it was way too boozy.

Picked up three four packs today locally. One for me, two for trades. Super exciting.
