Does anyone know when the Winterfest beer list will come out?

    I'm excited to see which beers show up this year. I'd love to see a Darkness treatment, Rum King and BA Ed Fitz. What beer are you hoping to see there?

    I am looking forward to trying Indeed's Mexican Cousin, the tequila barrel-aged version of their Mexican Honey lager. That beer surprised me bigtime.

    I see bb/ PD is bringing both bent beers without any of the pour decisions mainstays, I hope that doesn't hint at what there regular lineup will after the dust settles from the merger, although the sour excited me a bit. Speaking of which I counted three sours on the program. I keep hearing brewers talking about brewing sours without seeing much put out. Hopefully in the coming years some of this talk will come to fruition.

    That is a crazy list. Man the local scene is vibrant! Makes me question my decision to pass on the event. Regardless, it is a reminder that the best is yet to come around here, and it will be more than Surly. I hope the new hits make it to bottles, especially the barrel and infused stouts.

    a Weizenbotcher and a Sour though, those have PD written all over them. I think many at this event have already had the PD mainstays a few times.

    Stub and Herbs will be giving away 3 sets of 2 tickets for Winterfest on Wednesday night from 8-9:30...purchase any pitcher of MN Beer (half price on Wednesdays from 8-12) and you can put your name in for a drawing. We will draw a name every 30 minutes.
