Ok everyone this is my first post and have this question on my mind. Our one local craft beer store got one case of hop slam in today and we're told only two per person. So I went to the area and almost had a heart attack when I noticed the price was $5.75 each x 24 = 138.00. I understand this is a limited production but that I think the price was kind of steep! I understand prices for craft beer is much higher but what is the average price fit this beer?
Wow hopslam only two per person? I went to a distributor is Lawrenceville and they had about 5 cases. I am not even seeking it out since I would rather drink a case of Hop Ranch a fraction of the cost at just 45 tax included.
6packs by themselves are usually between 16-18 dollars. We haven't gotten ours in yet but I was told it would be 19.99 at a Total Wine that usually has really fair prices, so I'm a bit disappointed about that. So yeah you're getting a bit of a rip off but if you've never had it I would have gotten a bottle if I were you.
That's PA for you. The thing I hate about these hot dog / bottle shops is that they don't give you any KY Jelly before you make your purchase.
I live in the Scranton/ Wilkes barre area. They are very overpriced on everything I just go there if they have something special that no one else would have. Like when southern tier warlock came out they wanted $10.99 22oz bottle when I got it at wegmans for $6.99 that's where I get most of my beer from.
The Fridge in Lancaster just got it today. Looked like about 10-12 cases based on the picture they posted. $5 per bottle, with a limit of 4. I probably won't be going to get any. No idea how long it will last.
The bottle shop I went to in pburgh was $6.75 for singles. Naturally I bought 1. Where in Pittsburgh are there cases? Was in buddy brews this week and did not see any? Furthermore, which distributor has the best prices north/west/in Pittsburgh?
