Night Shift and Idle Hands are in the same building for the time being. Night Shift will be moving to a new location in Everett in March or so.

And, yes, to answer your other question, Mystic is about 1.5 miles away (it's technically walkable, but it's not a very pleasant walk -- very industrial area with lots of semi trucks and the shortest route will take you by one of the area's seediest strip clubs -- so I'd recommend driving or cabbing).

Thanks for the tip, I hit Row 34 last week (MLK day) with some colleagues. Very solid tap list, as well as the usual wonderful seafood from the ICOB team. We had reservations, but I'd like to try coming back here, snagging a seat at the bar, and pairing with a 6:30/6:45 arrival at Trillium to snag a growler before dinner.

Regarding the Allston recommendation, it looks interested, but I'm stuck to wherever the T can take me, and it doesn't seem like an easy or short trek from any of the areas I stay in (MGH, Theater District, Back Bay), unless I'm missing something (bus is required from what Google Maps has to say).

Just take the Green Line B to Packard's Corner or Harvard Ave and walk.

You should be forewarned- Some BA posters get a perverse pleasure seeing the tourists frozen to death on the sidewalks of Allston. A ten minute walk that I wouldn't recommend tomorrow without thermals.

Take the 57 from Kenmore to Deep Ellum. It runs about every 15 minutes. The B line is sort of walk-able but probably not pleasant this time of year. Order three Reubens.

Just wanted to chime in and say thanks much for this list and I hope it remains updated. I'll be using it as I stomp around Boston this weekend for Sint Pats.

I think I'll do my best to avoid that... if I had thought proper I would've tried to set up a tasting with some BAs.

Ruben @ Deep Ellum is absolutely going to happen.

I update this still on another site, but will probably make a new thread for an update in the summer. Would love some feedback/help though, in general. Specifically, are there any other breweries within about an hour drive of Boston that you can actually visit (tasting room, pints, etc.). I've heard of some small breweries like Bog Iron that have been at BA fests. Anyone have any others to add (preferably including visit experiences)?

This list made my trip to Boston significantly more awesome. Thank you! I loved everything at Trillium and Night Shift and was able to turn some locals on to them as well!
