Lots of people enjoy their Ragged Ass and speak highly of the brewery/beer. I am not one of them.

The brewery itself is nice, it's clear they dumped a LOT of money into it. The beer is mediocre and overpriced at the brewpub.

My personal opinion of Griffin Claw: Loved Dan's beer at Big Rock. The first batches of beer he opened with at the GC Grand Opening were probably brewed on the previous Big Rock equipment. I view the current batches of beer as growing pains as it is all new equipment for him to brew on. I know he brewed at MBC for a bit, but it still takes time to get used to new stuff.

If things are still tasting the same in a few months, then I won't be supporting them nearly as much anymore.

No problem with the Berliner weiss imo...my fav beer from them....The problems seem to be their barrel aged beer to me...

Berliner was one of them that I think was brewed on the previous system. Agreed, I loved that brew.

I was under the impression the blend itself was BA'd in old Black Note barrels (not just the Expo prior to blending). Please correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, it is surprisingly tasty.
