Dark horse reality show??

TV series for history. Can't wait to see it.

 

There was a camera crew at Dark Horse during 4 Elf. I remember talking to a production assistant, but sadly, that's about all I remember. I forget what they were there for.

For the record, I rather have acetone Lambeaks than diacetyl (buttered popcorn) Where the Wild Things. Please, please, please for those of you who have had a Where the Wild Things and tasted nothing but diacetyl, email them.

 

I'm guessing that the Brandy Barrel 4 Elf didn't suffer from that at all. That beer was INCREDIBLE.

 

My bottle of Brandy Barrel 4 Elf tasted like a bar of soap. T'was a bummer.

 

Yeah BB 4 Elf was a drain pour, absolutely terrible like pretty much everything they release at 4 Elf other than BBPt5. If people buy anything but BBPT5 at future 4 Elf parties they are dumb, and I won't feel sorry for you.

 

How is it that Dark Horse (or any brewery) can put out terribly infected beers year after year and not make it a priority to correct it?

Hmm, i had a few things from this recent 4 Elf release that tasted fine to me.

 

yep..there was a bunch that was fine...everything I had was fine and not infected.....And for anyone to say everything was infected except bbpt5 is basically being an idiot with an agenda

 

If you guys have more, I'll gladly take it off your hands. GLADLY.

 

At least DH can only count on one hand their infection issues. Let's talk about a fan boy brewery that constantly offers shit in wax dipped bottles for 30-50 bucks!

I looked up this Michigan Beer Film and it seems like it's just now getting ready to be shown/released... well, color me interested.

If that happens to be a color...

 

The thing about those is that some of those "shit in wax dipped bottles" are among the best rated beers in the world, deservedly so. Some are mediocre and some are complete crap, but every one of them sells out in hours to days. The prices are definitely higher than many other similar beers by other breweries, but how quickly they sell, and how highly they trade does say something.

 

I buy a bottle of everything DH does since I want to like them and every time I regret buying it, it feels like they just miss a step with their beers.

 

The only bad thing that was bottled from the 4elf this year was the donut beer, I thought the Brandy Barrel 4elf was amazing and the Beer is Dark was pretty good too.

 

Wow..I commend you for atleast trying to like them...But to be honest, I have never seen somone who has not liked atleast a few of these beers BBPT5. Plead the 5th, Crooked tree, Double Crooked tree..I could go on, but....Not every brewery is for everyone...

 

I should correct that, BBPT5 is good that is what keeps me trying other things from them. I'm not going to say they are drain pours just nothing that makes me want to buy a 6 pack, but like you said everyone has different tastes, DH just can't fit mine for now.

 

These people interviewed me at like 9 in the morning at 4 Elf. I was BLASTED and am assuming my buddy and I said some crazy shit.

I sure wish I could see that photo of me holding the waiver like I won the Stanly Cup.
