"no social skills" was the nice way of putting it by the way

If you look at their Yelp its riddled with complaints about rude service. maybe the owner just hires all his family?

Wow, a lot more Yelp reviews about the poor service than I had expected based on the overall rating.

not surprised. i used to know a guy who worked for them when they were at their old location, (he may still work there, i'm not sure) and didn't sounded too excited about anything going on with their product. he stopped just short of telling me not come through the tasting room.

I had it a few years ago and remember it being great. Got a bomber of the new release this week, and it tasted fine up front... but the aftertaste was really, really sweet. As if it someone had dumped some sugar or corn syrup into my beer when I wasn't looking. That kind of killed it for me.

It has actually always been like that, your palate is finally just realizing it. This is called an awakening.

The last batch of KS I liked. I have not had the latest batch yet. But before the last batch I did not drink KS for 2 years as it was way to malty with the end being to sweet. When first released I would be in line to get bottles. Not anymore. So many more better beers out there. Including Lupulin Thrill.
