SWTFYW Hints and Hauls!!!

As expected, no bootles today.

I got my celebration on these past couple days with some brewery stops:

Bear republic:


The new Apex IPA (second from right) was super fresh and pretty tasty. Also was pretty into the tartare, their berliner weiss (back row... not the dark one...)

Also hit up Lagunitas because my girlfriend decided to surprise me with all sorts of brewery visiting:

Nothing special, but a nice place worth the stop. But the taproom isn't open Monday or Tuesday, so be careful.

And tonight I was going to enjoy a bcbcs, but it got a little late for me to dig into something quite that big, so I went with this instead:

2010 Plead the 5th. Courtesy of a regular trading partner who is not the original owner of the bottle, but it held up very nicely. A little thinner, a little sweet up front, and a little lighter on the carbonation, but the finish is an awesome blend of creamy chocolate and coffee. This has to be my favorite imperial stout.

 

My comment about UPS MyChoice meant that I know the box is coming to me. It showed up on my dashboard:

I can not thank you guys enough!!! I think each of you had a personal vendetta against my wants list...and kudos, you guys killed it. I have been thoroughly enjoying these goodies over the past few days, and I can't wait to crack into more of them!!
