    Credit where credit is due--the mystery bootle was the one all the way on the left, with the pretty silver wax. Obviously neither Houser or I looked at it or you might have gotten a different mystery bootle:grinning:

    I'm going to a tasting on Saturday night where we are opening Kate the Great '11, World Wide Stout '05 and Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, among many others. I'll probably grab another sixer of Sucks for the Super Bowl.

    My friends and I usually do a "Mystery Bag" where we all bring beers and stick them all in the same cooler. When you want a beer, you can't look at what you're grabbing. Whatever you grab you have to drink. We always throw in "grenades," which are beers no one likes (BMC) to keep it interesting. Since the party is at my house, I'm in charge this year, which means lots of craft goodies in there. I'm going shopping tomorrow.

    You had me at “barrel-aged saison with fruit.” Forest & Main Brewing Company is ready to drop their next limited bottle on Saturday, February 1 at 4pm. Two different versions of their wine barrel-aged saison, Marius will be available, one with peaches and another with plums. This will be the 2nd vintage of the beer, although the 2013 version was packaged in 750mL bottles and aged on sour cherries.
    The details:

    • $12 per 375mL bottle
    • Limit 6 per person of each version
    • Approx 400 bottles available of each
    Forest & Main Brewing Company is located at 61 N. Main Street in Ambler.
