From Bell's It will then start shipping to Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, Kentucky and Pennsylvania the week of Jan. 20.

I suspect we'll start seeing it next week.

Did the bottle cost as much as the average cost of a 6 pack?

Just posted this in the Hopslam release thread as well:

Got conflicting stories about Hopslam in the DC area this morning. The beer buyer at the P St. Whole Foods said he was not getting any Hopslam at all this year. He claimed that shipments were damaged during the polar vortex and they were not getting any.

The dude at Connecticut St., who generally knows his shit, said it was probably coming in this week.

If you know when it is coming in, and are in/near Alexandria, you can go to the Total Wine there, the Total Wine in Springfield, and the Whole Foods in Old Town. Those locations have all gotten a ton of it in the past, and I've never had an issue scoring a 6-er for around $17. Total Wine Springfield in particular is a great place to buy stuff like this, it never goes very fast.

Westover charges too much in general. Almost everything on their shelves is 10-15% more expensive than most other places. Same deal with the bar/beer garden.

There are just sooo many places you can walk into and be blown away by their bottle selection - especially in DC/Arlington - that there's really no need to settle for Westover's extreme price gouging. And I agree with the above poster that their beer garden is way overpriced too. Go across the street to Lost Dog or drive ten minutes to Total Wine.

Not to mention (and this is just my beer nerdinesss coming out), for a place that calls themselves the "Beer Garden and Haus", I really think it's stupid that they serve all their beers in clear plastic cups.

Polar Vortex is going to cause people to have to contact a doctor for a beer boner lasting 4 or more hours.

Beer Run in C-ville said they will have it next week, 2-4-14, also release limits and times, noon and 8 pm on 2-4, and 6 pm on 2-6...

Unfortunately Mother Nature has decided we must wait a couple more weeks for Hopslam. It seems Bell's does not want to risk sub-zero temps when shipping it from MI.

Well this thread took a very interesting turn. Great research into this person, however I think he was just expressing that he had already named the place previously so he was bolding it. Not that I don't think he is quite the feminine product for his earlier responses.
