Yeah, I'm a bit bummed about the chalice - I liked that one. Still, perhaps it's an opportunity to get something else. I've always wanted one of the Summer Wine brewery glasses.....

I've just cracked Ska's Euphoria Pale Ale. The first thing I noticed is that it isn't particularly pale.....

And that, I suppose, is why nobody does trades in this subforum.

Anyhoo, 4 cans of co-op "export ale" to finish of a tremendously wet day and ward of the hypothermia.
They tried to send me one once as an apology for taking weeks with an order but it broke in the box and they never responded. I guess it's harsh demanding a new free glass. Still saddening though :slight_frown: I've also broken a Gulden Draak glass and an Orval glass so I can relate bro.

Unlucky. I guess posting glass is always a bit of a dodgy proposition....

    Currently on Siren's Soundwave. S'OK

Just surfaced after my 40th bash at Port street
quite a big big beer night that included Acorn's Spalter IPA & Winter Pale Ale
Summer Wine's Zenith, Huldra Smoked Porter & Nathan Grandal
    Brewfist's Terminal
    Celtic Experience's Ogham Ash
Evil Twins Imperial Biscotti Break plus samples and trying others etc
then a friend bought us a bomber of Horal's Oude Gueze to share which only he and me could drink.

Got a four Innis and Gunn beers today, they were on offer in Tescos. Hopefully they'll be good, though I'm not expecting anything spectactular. Will go to the proper off license later and see if they have anything good.

I'm still on my UK beer kick. Probably always will be. I emailed an order for these brews:

1 each of Williams Midnight Sun, Trooper, Skull Splitter, Traquair 2020, Ridgeway Querkus, and Pullman Ale.

Hopefully, they will all be in stock. I had the Skull Splitter many moons ago, long before I started reviewing beers. Wish me luck.

    OK, so today in summary:

2 pints of Leeds Best (first and last beers of the day, the second pint was better)
Pint of Black Sheep Best Bitter (excellent stuff)
2 pints of Sam Smith's Old Brewery Bitter (I've come to the conclusion I don't like this stuff, will probably stick to lager in their pubs from now on)
    Pint of Fosters
