Nope, sorry, can't feel sorry for you for a second right now. Be interested to hear what you made of Gregorious. I wasn't too sure about its Germanic twist. And which year of Pannepot are you supping?

I'll try to feel sorry for you tomorrow morning but there are no guarantees.

Just had a bottle of Fyne Maverick. Sadly, it was slaughtered by my bowl of Szechuan beef.

Leeds' Yorkshire Gold. Rather nice - a classic ale flavour.

Gregorius was by far the poorest beer out of the ones I had it was over carbonated and was not as balanced as the others it was also the most expensive it would be nice no see how much it mellows over time but aging beer is hard for me if it there i will drink it. Pannepot was 2013 which was good, I have had 2009 recently and that was spectacular.

I'm not even sure Gregorious would age all that well. Its very much of a different (Austrian) brewing tradition despite the 'Trappist' pedigree.

Great news on the 2009 Pannepot. I keep looking at my last bottle and whispering to frantically 'Next time, Next time'. That's neen going on for about 3 years now.

Luckie Ales 56/ Resurrection. Maybe I'm beginning to show signs of Eiche overdose but I'm convinced there are Schlenkerla notes in there. Mmmmmm.

All part out of the 'Great British Beer Gouging' so identified by the rather clueless yet honest Brewmeister

I had planned to finish the weekend with a bomber of Bear Republic Racer 5
but wasn't willing to pay £28 for it
I don't know if that was the regular price
or because it was a Friday night and the place was packed and I had consumed a few ales.

Anyhoo Gotlands Brutal Bulldog Double IPA

Happily not giving a shit about the Superb Owl, but also getting annoyed at this new "watch" thing where you reply to a thread, and then it sends you notifications when other people also replied. And even if you "unwatch" it when you reply again it sets itself to "watch" again.

    Bastards.

    Keep that order on hold
I haven't worked out how to turn it off
and I'm still pissed that you don't get email notification when you get a reply or message here.
