    $6 for a Gansett draft.

    The worst.

You can get tall boys of the stuff for like $2 at select places.

For what it's worth, I love Trinity, but totally understand why people don't like it.

Can't beat a mug of the IPA though, I am often there.

I've been driving into Attleboro more and more for beer. Worth it for selection. Now that I live downtown there's really only ENO, which has a small (but good) and expensive selection.

Fat Belly's is not good at all. Usually shit beer, shit food.

I like Trinity. I've had some great memories and fun times there. But I really only enjoy a few of their beers. Their food is good though. it's a shame they increased the price of the wings on Mondays. But that's life, I guess.

I want to love Trinity, I really do. It's location is great if you're kicking around downtown for whatever reason. Maybe it's the yeast they use in their beers or something, but whatever the deal is the beer's just don't do it for me. I had one of their beers a while back and was so unimpressed that I vowed not to go back. But I am softie and like I said, I really want to give them another go, so I popped back in last Summer and had their Strawberry Blonde. It was terrible. That was the final straw, they were sworn off again. Then, yet again, I caved. I was killing time a few weeks ago before I met with folks elsewhere. I stopped in and grabbed the Kolsch, a style I love. It tasted the way that an aquarium smells. I don't know how to describe it. One of the worst beers I have ever had. So that's it, no more! Ha ha ha

I tend to believe it is their water. I used to get a lot of hangovers and upset stomachs from Trinity beer.

As it stands, the Trinity beers I really like are: Point Break Pale, IPA, Russian Imperial Stout, and Mercy Brown. The Strawberry Belgian is good when you want to drink paint thinner and get shitfaced in the summer, and the Decadence IPA is good fresh, and dank as hell. The rest of them, I could do without.

Larkin's Revival Line is generally better than the Trinity beers, IMO. Double Black is great stuff.

I haven't had the Decadence IPA, but I can't stand the regular Trinity IPA, so I am not optimistic.

Last time I had Decadence, it was murky, and dank. Very earthy/herbal/spicy hops. It was a heavy ass beer.

Oh, and I forgot about the White Electric Coffee Stout, that was my favorite beer from them until the second time around when they changed how much coffee they must've added. the second batch wasn't nearly as coffee-forward.

Ahhh, that was one beer from them that I remember liking. I didn't have the second version, only the first.

I have a soft spo for the imperial stout and Redrum.

Soft spots for beer is an interesting thing. I have a soft spot for all things Long Trail as I have so many positive associations with trips to visit their brewpub. At the same time, they do make some really solid beers. It seems like almost all of the love for Trinity is based on "soft spot" love. In other words, they get business because people have positive associations with them exposing them to craft beer, or them being the place to hang in college or them having cool people work there etc., etc., but not because the beer is actually good. This is certainly just me thinking out loud, so please take it with a grain of salt. Moreover, I wager having a "soft spot" for products is how many businesses, huge businesses no less, make their money.

Long Trail has always been solid to me, but lately they have been stepping up to the plate and crushing it out of the park between their brand and the Otter Creek brand. Limbo, Kind Ryed, and their RIS that I tried at Beervana were all so good and I really want to get into the Citra Mantra pale ale.

I am excited that they bottled Ramble (a lemon pepper kolsch that I had hoped to try last time I was but had just missed). I will be grabbing a sixer ASAP.

I think it blows the doors off of SA Escape Route.
It seems to me, Trinity's issues (whether it be funky yeast, funky water, funky glassware, rushing batches, a/o questionable carbonation) are fairly easily reconciled...yet not all that much has improved in my 15 years of sampling.

So Limbo > Rebel , and Ramble > Escape Route. LT kicking Sam Adams's butt. How's that possible?

I think they've been gunning for each other recently (by concurrently releasing a West Coast IPA, a white IPA, and a Kolsch) - with Long Trail winning by a mile.
