Not sure what you thought you were quoting me on, but I was merely explaining how I think Zhukov is best with 12-18 months in it, and its not as good fresh. I know they will make more. The bottle itself even indicates they release it early so it's ready for
    WInter.

Outside of that, not sure where you got your case number from, but every case of Hunahpu's I've purchased has been 12 bottles.

I do agree that there will be plenty.

Just get your beers. They've yet to determine how many they're going to guarantee to the ticket holders this year. Last year, it was two bottles to the first 1,000 people (gold wristband) and one bottle to the rest (regular wristband). They opened up general sales around 6 pm while they were busy kicking everyone out and cleaning up the grounds. The way I bought mine was, I got in line at 2:00 am with friends (an insane hour, I agree) and got my first two bottles with the gold arm band once sales began at noon. I walked those bottles back to my hotel and secured them in the hotel safe, then went back and hung out and bottle shared. It started clearing out around 4 pm and by 5 pm the crowd size was down to about a thousand or so. They opened up to general sales and I snagged four more bottles, walked back to the hotel and put those in the safe, then came back to the tap room and hung out with the overworked staff while the cleanup commenced.

Last year, the line was so massive that it stretched down the sidewalk past the brewery, around the block at Dale Mabry and spilled out into the Home Depot parking lot at some point. Apparently, the line partying was getting pretty intense and complaints were made from the local businesses as the police stormed the gates at the front of the line at 7:00 am. I watched a cop almost mow down about five people camped out in beach chairs in a squad car while driving up to find the management of CCB. I guess they decided to open the gates early (they usually open at 11 am) and let us all in before something unpleasant happened. Meh, whatever. With 9,000+ people, it was a bit of a madhouse. I felt really bad for people with kids and those struggling in line at the porta potties.

It was 3 bottles for the first 1000 then 2 bottles.

The way I got mine was walking up at 9, getting my 3 bottle wristband, and enjoying the day. Then after 5, got in line and bought my 12 bottle case limit. It was a great day.

    2AM??? That's crazy.

Where are you getting your numbers from? Gold wristbands were guaranteed 3 bottles and silver wristbands were guaranteed 2 bottles. Also 12 Hunahpus were in a case, just like every other 750ml from CCB.

He was "partying" in line since 2AM. Probably could have told him it was one bottle for $40 at that point

Well we could nitpick all day long. The three bottles the rest of us got with our gold bands, despite showing up well after 2 a.m. The 9,000+ people. The fact that a case of beer is not six bottles. I'm still pretty sure he went to Sort Of Hunahpu Day.

I arrived at 2013 Hunahpu Day 3 months in advance, and within an hour the line had snaked halfway across America. Once I did get to the entrance, I was forced to fight a pack of mechanically enhanced mountain wolves for the right to a 3 bottle wristband, and those that survived but lost limbs during the encounter were relegated to a 2 bottle wrist band. Once inside the event it was like the films Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome and the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory met on Craig's List, had a moonshine and mescaline infused casual encounter, and 9 months later birthed Hunahpu's Day 2013. It was equal parts frenzied, magical wonderland and sullen dystopian nightmare. Most people wandered aimlessly, unsure if they should be laughing or crying, delicate pours of Snack Attack and BVDL on their trembling lips. The lines were akin to Disney World, if Disney World decided to remove all of the attractions and simply fill the parks with additional lines. I saw one man age and dissipate like Walter Donovan in The Last Crusade, only to have a bearded, hunch backed CCB minion cackle and whisper to the pile of dust where he once stood "He chose.....poorly". I urge you all to avoid it this year, as i'm told the dog packs have been visiting A-Rod's former physicians for consultations.

(I just blacked out and when I came to the aforementioned was typed out. No idea. Don't judge me.)

Man these estimates keep getting bigger and bigger. I figure by the time the Super Bowl is again hosted in Tampa, people will say, "Super Bowl of 75,000+ people at Ray Jay? Meh... there was double... no.... triple that at Hunahpu Day 2013."
