Sometimes, you can order it from Gary's. Not sure if it is cheaper to order it from him or pay the shipping from Belguim.

I think I used Paypal the last couple of times. Only because I am too lazy to get up and get my wallet to get the cc #

Chruchkey in Washington D.C. has some readily available. Obviously you can get it at the brewery in Brussels. Look for places that Shelton Bro's distribute to, very hard to impossible to find retail randomly in most places in U.S..

There is Etre Gourmet too, but I've always preferred Belgium in a Box. Kurt, who runs BIAB, is a great man and from my experience, just wants to help beer nerds get some quality Belgian beers. Kurt's customer service is awesome. I've found BIAB and EG to be cheaper in different situations. Take some time to compare prices. Lately, the prices have increased a tad (I'm talking about only 1 euro at most for the most part) on both sites for the mainstay stuff like gueuze, rose and kriek. I just compared the prices I payed back in November with what is currently offered.

It ends up being about 8 dollars a kg (2.2 pounds) A 750 is about a 1.5 kg, a 375 is about 0.8. The more you buy, the cheaper it gets, just like everything fun in this world.

So a 750 of Cantillon Gueuze is about 22 dollars, bought in bulk. How long do you think they would last at those prices on the shelf, in the US. The only problem is paying for all that beer at once. And then beer to drink while it takes the time to ship.

So, wait for happy times, like tax return season. Who needs a new TV? Playstation 4 can wait! Buy more Drie Fonteinen! And I guess some Cantillon as well.

Yes, but it's almost like a crap shoot. And then you have to hope that they don't gouge the price. The LPK was 30 bucks for me, but I've heard of other places charging upwards of 50 bucks for it.

3F and Cantillon sent to the DC area seem to ALL end up at behind the counter at Neighborhood Restaurant Group bars. Fortunately, prices are actually not insane, and I know Paradiso at least will give you 20% off if you want to take home an unopened bottle. Monk's Cafe in phila also typically has Cantillon, and not crazy prices either.

Expensive. About 65 U.S. $ This is a one time deal for me unless I have a few buddies willing to split the cost.

One of my local shops told me 2010. I was just talking to him about this last week. He said he randomly gets about 2 cases a year now and that's it. Used to just chill on the shelves turding away.

Somewhat related - in 2010 Bourbon County Coffee bombers sat on the shelves at my local store for a month or so. Then when they finally sold out, they were still able to order another case from the distributor.

In 2011 - they sold out within the first day and all cases were already allocated.

2008 or 2009 here in Denver. Those $20+ bottles used to languish for months if not years. Now they sell out in minutes. Funny enough, other former "shelf turds" like DFH 120/WWS and De Dolle started moving immediately right around the same time.

on Long Island, I haven't seen a bottle on the shelf in 2+ years. About a year prior to that it was kind of hard to get. Before that, you could walk into a few places and see 100% Kriek, classic and even Lou Pepe sometimes sit for a while.

mr. koko is right, my very self it's been a long time as well, let's say about 3 years ago i haven't see a bottle of shelf, but if i can get an investment partner here, then we can establish new powerful business by importing and shelf it.
