Pretty soon we'll have no choice but to drink them. Tragic. (which emoticon should I use to denote sarcasm?)

I'm kinda bummed. Would love to buy more BW XII.

I don't care about trade value but distributing beers across the country which were initially pegged as society exclusives seems a little off to me. I'm sure there are members who would like to buy more bottles.

I am sure there are members who wouldn't be if they could just buy them in the stores too.

Yeah. I understand if it was for a special event, but if RS beers are just being sold in Vermont that's not a good move.

Yeah, it kind of irks me that they raised the price of BW XII during the 12-days of xmas sale, then they offer it for sale in another state.

@PMR Could RS/HS members, and Bruery fans in California who would like to purchase these beers off the shelf, get an explanation here? Why are "Society Only" beers going to VT?

Has this actually been proven to be a fact? As far as I can see it was just something that some guy said. Are we maybe jumping to conclusions here? Or did I miss a post that proved this to be more than just hearsay?

I'm checking into it. We sell a little bit of beer through Hill Farmstead and sometimes send RS exclusive beers to our distributors for special events, festivals, etc. but typically not for general retail.

    Cheers,
    Patrick

Don't think it has been confirmed but it seems the guy in the linked thread can see what is or will be available at the distributor. Doesn't look like he's trolling but what who the hell really knows.

Anybody able to try this month's RS allocations yet? What did you think?

Really really really really really curious about Smooth Criminal since I accidentally ordered 6 of them. In my worst nightmare.

In reality I did order 1, though.

I'll be there on Sunday for bottle waxing. The plan is to try all 3 (and M9 if available), I'll report back that afternoon. Turns out Grey Monday will be on tap Sunday too. So I got that going for me... which is nice.
