Looked at the stack at Bestway this morning, walked past it. and went to the cooler and bought a 4-pack of Hop Drop'n Roll.

Quite a large price discrepancy.....it seems it's ranging from $16.99-21.99 per 6-pack....just in the triangle....ironic that Total Wine is the price gouger....considering their fair and equitable pricing was why they got Westy over all the price-gouging bottle shops....just sayin

Hope I'm not rubbing salt into an old wound

Maybe TW is sick of people calling about it non-stop.

They've got to charge more in order to cover the cost of having Vncnt on the phone all day and not being able to get the rest of his work done.

Just so you know, there was more to that Westy tale than "fair and equitable pricing". Only one piece of the three tier system made close to regular margin is my thinking. But, you are correct, this need not be rehashed. Cheers.

I think everyone who works at a beer store is sick of people calling. Myself included

This. My first post here because I've been intimidated by the knowledge here. I did chase this down today because I've never had it and had to try it. It's a good beer, better that a lot out there. I'll go towards the Hop Drop going forward. The desire to have something I've never had is apparently still strong with me.

Cheers. I love Hopslam, but until recently HD'nR wasn't available. We're very lucky for sure. Not that they're similar really, but from a real quality/value perspective Noda is offering some truly great fresh brews. Welcome aboard!

Total Wine North Hills had 10 cases, and they were/are actually $19.99 a 6-pack. Also, there is a current $1 off coupon.

Hopslam. No nose. Bad hop profile. Hop drop n roll is an easy choice

This is the first time I've had Hopslam in 3 years, as I was in a state that Bell's didn't distribute to. In that 3 year span, I've had the opportunity to try several different DIPA's. When I had my first sip tonight, I wouldn't say I was disappointed, but I was saying to myself, "I'd rather have Hop Drop N Roll, Jade (yeah, not DIPA), or Hop Ranch/DirtWolf, or FW Double Jack." I think Hopslam is a solid brew and absolutely delicious, just so much diversity available now.
