What to get in Cali (Long Beach)?

    I find it funny how people can't NOT recommend IPAs.

    Like it's blasphemous to be burnt out on them or something. Haha.

    @GameFreac when i was there the other day they had Prairie: 'Merica, the Beer that Saved Christmas and Ale. For Crooked Stave: Vielle and St. Bretta. I highly recommend Merica, and the St Bretta is pretty good as well.

    Had a Tovarish last night... its tasting really great right now.

    Yeah, but getting beers from SoCal and ignoring IPAs would be like going to a world-class seafood restaurant and ordering the chicken.

    So I got a DB Huna coming my way (didn't even ask - this guy rules) and need some sours to make it a good trade. Any recs besides Bruery sours?

    I hear the new Almanac Farm to Barrel beers are in town: Brandy Barrel Peche, Sourdough Wild Ale, Valley of the Heart. The sourdough sounds amazing........ Also, I believe Stearns has Logsdon Far West Vlaming, while Whole Foods and Cal Heights have Logsdon Cerasus (but they're like $23).

    I'm partial to Eagle Rock's Yearling. Not sure if it's still floating around, but I've always enjoyed it
