Life and Limb, easy enough to get and a great brew

Avery's Collaboration not Litigation is pretty amazing imo.

Other than that I think most of them are busts. The SN 30th ann. series was pretty good though.

having just added a splash of basil hayden's to some winter 2010/2011 brooklyn black chocolate stout, i can tell a collaboration that would be good...

Stone and NOLA recently did a collab called Pour Me Something Mistah! and that was really great. Big porter with Satsuma and Molasses added. Life and Limb 2 is also one of my favorites.

Saison Du Buff was decent, I thought.

Gnomegang, a Belgian strong pale ale/tripel-type - a top 5 beer all-time for me - collaboration between Ommegang and Brasserie d'Achouffe - out last year in bombers and briefly as part of Ommegang's giftbox; due out in 12 oz bottle this summer as part of another Ommegang gift box.

Popskull (FFF/DFH) was magical. Not a big selling point for me, but if the beer sounds tasty, ill pick it up.

I suppose the best collaboration I've had is the Ken Schmidt/Maui/Stone coconut porter, even though I was a tad underwhelmed by it.

Can't believe no one's mentioned the first batch of Infinium yet for worst.

The Kona Macadamia was good from Stone. BBA version better.

    Cheers!

I just opened both Popskull and Poppaskull at our tasting this past weekend and the group consensus was that Ppoppaskull was the better of the two.

Gnomegang, Issabella Proximus, Marron Acidirife, TBA, and both Blvd/Deschutes collabs were my favorite.

My least favorites were the DFH Saison Buff, Victory Saison Buff, CCB/Bruery ISO:FT (especially when compared to Marron), and Life and Limb.

Brooklyn and Schneider HopfenWeisse...Ein Stinko, way overloaded with hops, probably too much Brooklyn influence. Schneider later came out with a much better hopped-up Weisse under their own label. Not sure why Schneider felt the need for a hoppier Weisse, they already sell Edel Weisse which is superb.

Wait...and who can forget this timeless over priced gem.... Infinium. Why they did another run of it is beyond me? And all for the low price of twenty bucks.

I haven't tried to many collabs, but the that one was delicious.
