I'll be solo at least for a bit at the start. I'll have a black hoodie on, a block 15 t-shirt and two lip piercings. I'll see if I can find anyone else based on the descriptions here.

I'll also be on the solo list. Probably in a black sweater, green polo, or both depending on temperature. Feel free to say hi. It would also be great to split some glasses if its like Bigwood and they're not doing the smaller pours (or do they do the different sized pouts for Back in Black like they had for Hard Liver)?

I don't recall them having small pours last year, or at least anything smaller than a 10oz.

Will be there as well at opening. First time to Back in Black and am psyched! Favorite event at Brouwer's so far has been the Big Wood. Definitely wouldn't mind joining some of you as I would love to taste a large variety.

I'm all for sharing at Brouwer's. I'll try to find a few of you in line.

Who can forget the Expos? They were the greatest farm team of the 1980's!

I'm game for this. And knowing what you look like, Dan, makes the whole searching thing a lot easier.

Sounds great Dan! All pitch in and share - maximize the number of tastings and still be able to leave at the end of the day knowing what our favorites were.

Don't remind me. And the one true shot they had at glory was screwed by the 1994 strike. Oh well. The Nationals are doing pretty well now at least ...

Any idea if Brouwer's will be releasing a draught list in advance of the event?

I asked on their FB page and they said they may release a few highlights today but looks like they never got around to it. Seems they've become worse and worse about actually posting what will be on for festivals...

Yeah. They made the same promise before Big Wood. That never happened.

Well looking at the little bit they did talk about, we should see Driftwood's Singularity, which I've been wanting to try without having to shell out $20 for a bottle, Parabola, Black Xantus, Avery Mephistopheles or hopefully Uncle Jacob's, WWS, etc.

Dirtylou beat me to it, though I wouldn't be surprised if the conveniently left a keg or two off the list.

    I'll be there in a Chuck's shirt.

A lot of you here already? We are upstairs, out of the thick of things. Not that I care after having a Shug Knite and HUB Brouwer's 6th anniversary.
