Bell's Black Note 2013/2014?

I haven't heard anything..

I missed it last year, and it's a ISO for me to atleast try. I wonder if they got a later start to it.

 

Haven't seen or heard anything about bottles this year

 

I was told that NC is being skipped this year do to lack of Bell's sales. I guess if you want to see it in 2015 you need to but down that Hop Drop n Roll (never!!) and drink more Two Hearted. lol

 

That would suck if the entire state had to suffer. I know of bars/shops that purposely sell a shit ton of Bell's so they don't get the shaft on Hopslam/Black Note.

 

I know for Charlotte this to be true, rest of the state, not sure.

A reliable source, I promise. Now things are always subject to change but we'll see.

 

Black Note is still in the barrels currently, so ultimately it may not come out at all, Bell's never said it was going to be a yearly release, I did also hear it may just be a small release of 750mL bottles again... Kzoobrew may be able to give more info but it's Bell's, so secret society applies.

 

I missed it last year as well and would love to see it in VA again.

It was in bars for several months all over Atlanta, you had to pay attention but even a few lesser known places got it. The Thinking Man had it on for over a week, which would have been longer had I not had a glass or two every day. That beer is just insanely incredible.

 

I saw a few places in Decatur had it on tap, but I moved out of town for a larger house and a yard to raise a family, so it's a bit more of a hassle to get back into town by a few minutes.

I want to try a few bottles of it this year, so hopefully that works out.

 

The only thing we heard was a keg to SC for Brewvival. Our beer mgr wasn't sure if we were going to get any package or not. Last year we got 10 cs for the whole state.

 

The bells rep for the greater Charlotte area can't even access kegs of it. I've heard from multiple store owners and beer managers that we will not be seeing it this year. I do however know a few places that have kegs from last year

 

i doubt its due to a lack of bell's sales in NC. they were way up this year... would love to know who said that.

 

Up over 20% so that is 100% untrue. Heard there may be some black note for us too. stay tuned.
