Liquor World in Porter Sq, Cambridge had 5+ bottles each of Coffee and Vanilla this afternoon. They also had at least one bottle of regular BA Framinghammer. Also Ball Sq Liquors in Somerville posted that they have Coffee and Vanilla today. Both locations had a one-bottle limit for each.

Had the crew at CBC Annex in Winchester set aside one of each for me yesterday (LOVE same day holds), but the shelf was pretty well stocked when I got there around 7:30 p.m. No limit on either -- they were $9.50 each for the variants, which seems like a good price judging from everything else I've seen here.

Had the vanilla last night -- delicious. I know they're slightly different beasts, but this is right up there for me with BCBS and related variants -- and maybe beats it. Just a smooth, well-balanced beer.

That's the cheapest I've seen so far.

Snagged a few bottles at the brewery last week. Will probably crack a vanilla this weekend, a coffee during the next snowstorm.

Redstone in Stoneham has it, 2 vanilla + 2 coffee per person limit. From what I understand, they expect it to be gone today.

I just bought a bottle of the Coffee Framinghammer, the label makes no mention if being barrel aged. So, are there BA and Non-BA versions out there? $11.44 at Supreme in Central Sq.

No. Jack's Abby mentioned in the BA Framinghammer thread that it is merely an oversight. They are barrel aged.

Pemberton Farms has the Coffee and Vanilla out. $9.99/each. No limit posted that I could see.

Saw a guy at Julio's today wheeling out a shopping cart filled with Vanilla and Coffee Framinghammer. He must be trying to corner the market.

Anyone know if the Yankee Spirits in Attleboro has any of this?

Both were available yesterday at Caporale Liquors in Wakefield. Limit of 1 bottle per person. Priced at $9.95.

Slightly OT, but any information why these are cheaper at most retailers than they are at JA's? You'd think they'd be more expensive at retail outlets than the brewery itself but doesn't seem to be the case...

I think a general rule of thumb is breweries usually avoid undercutting their clients (bottle shops and restaurants) on price.

Thanks. This makes sense... I guess I didn't think of it that way. Appreciate the reply. Glad it keeps the costs lower at retail outlets!

They have cases of each of the 4, shouldn't be a problem

would be cool to use for homebrewing, but I assume those are massive barrels?

I'd assume so. They have yet to provide any info on the specific size of the barrels they used. If there is a standard size barrel, I would assume it'd be that size.

A group brewed barleywine or scotch ale effort would be pretty cool.
