I'm hoping for at least one. My guess is at least $100.

What if your wife/friend/acquaintance also loves beer? Then I would say that this approach is perfectly fine.

Too soon? Now that is spot on. Not sure if anyone else here understands the joke.

If I recall correctly, they were $16/4-pk at Founders on release, $20-25/4-pk retail, if you could find them. Most places sold it by the bottle. In Chicago, anyways.

Wow! That retail price is quite a mark up. Its amazing what these stores can get away with when it comes to limited release beers.

Agreed if that's the case. My fiance frequently gets tickets to releases and drinks her part of the stash

The few times I've seen it for sale by the individual bottle it often runs for $10 a bottle which is a little steep for my taste. Hope to get even one reasonably priced 4-pack

If I recall 4-packs were $20 here in Philly last year. Still expect to find a case around here this time around!

Hope for less than $150 a case, but don't expect it.

I don't think so. Cases are less per 4-pack than if you just bought a 4-pack alone. And they went for $20 per 4-pack last year around here. So 20 X 6 would be around $120..but like I said, they're almost always less even for KBS.

I'm talkin' New Yawk prices, dawg. If you can even get someone to sell you a whole case, which usually won't happen without some zj action.

Yep. As noted above, PA laws actually "promote" sales of cases rather than breaking them into smaller "portions".

I always feel terrible for the folks that go on a hunt for a single bottle only to miss out. While others score cases.

$20 a four pack! Wow glad I saw that priced quoted in this thread before I went out and got sticker shock at the store. $5 per bottle is about my uppermost spending range, hopefully it's worth the hype and money spent

Hopefully the ones that score cases are true BA's and break them up to those that didn't get. I was lucky enough to score some last year. I shared(and am still sharing) what I have. Makes no sense for me to collect beer to say I have it and you don't. Drink it. You having multiple cases does not make you any more special. When you show me your 17 cases that you got and I am standing there without, I too get a little angry about that. And to those that would say, stand in line, visit multiple stores, check and check. I'm the guy that goes to the store and see's 3 bottles of something one the shelf, I take one. The rest are left for someone else to enjoy. That should be all of our attitudes. I stand in lines waiting for beer as well. I am happy to put in the time to get beer.

Someone else said about bringing their wives/girlfriends along to purchase extra bottles. If your wife/girlfriend plans on drinking/sharing her stash, great. If she is there simply to have you tuck another case in your cellar, shame on you. You are then the definition of a bad BA.

I still have a few bottles from last year. Those that did not get a taste, please message me and maybe we can work something out. I am always willing to help out when I can.

My motto is, A beer shared is better than a beer drank.

    Cheers!

The real answer is to find friends and significant others that have better taste in beer.
