Bourbon County in SoCal?

I preferred Parabola '13 over BCBS '13 and you can find it for about $15 (though I've gotten it for about $13 on sale before). I felt this year's BCBS was on the sweet side and inferior to the previous vintages I've had (07-12).

 

there's a little liquor store in Temecula (rancho liquors?) - $20 for a 4-pack of BCBS. saw it there today.

 

I was there yesterday without seeing it... Maybe Liquor Depot?

 

I agree. Look at the price of the recently released BA Old Rasputin. Crazy expensive.

 

You mean it's even more expensive now? It was pretty expensive at around $21-$23 before.

 

I think it was priced around $25 for a 500ml bottle

$28 isn't bad for a 4 pack. I paid $26 all in at Bevmo on BF. I would be a buyer at $28 for a 4 pack.

 

Have anything to trade? It's been gone for a while around Brea (since blackfriday)! My thought is that it needs a little more time in the bottle, I'll probably start drinking one a month to test my theory.

 

Yeah. 28 is pretty reasonable for a four pack. I paid 24 plus tax I think, so yeah around 26, so 28 is not outrageous for being one of the last left.

 

That's not that bad. It's a little too high, but there were some places selling individual bottles for 8+ each. Some some individual bottles as high as 10

 

Amazing Grapes in Rancho Santa Margarita is doing a big tapping tonight, and the list includes BC Barleywine. They have it posted on their facebook page.

 

Oceanside BevMo has 7 4 packs left of the Barleywine. It's ontop and have to ask to get it down. Just got 2 4 packs. What an awesome surprise!!!

 

It's nuts that these bottles show up this far after the release.

 

I managed to get 2 bottles of Backyard Rye just a week ago. Was surprised to see it sitting on the shelf at the grocery store a block away. I guess they got a late BCBS shipment somehow.
