FW Invitational 2014

What is the FW rate over there? I have a reservation right now but wondering if the group rate is a better deal.

 

I am not sure if the prices are different per night but it is an average of $115/night for 2 nights.

 

Own and operate an RV park and cabins in Pismo Beach. 20 min hike, but would get a BA discount.

 

I won't be able to make it and didn't even bother trying to get tickets. I did book a hotel room months ago, and just called to cancel so now there' a room opened up at the Adelaide Inn for the Saturday night.

 

Im at the Travel lodge paso robles ? is there a bottle share close on saturday night? also how far is this from the festival? walking distance?

 

Yes, definitely walking distance. Adelaide seems to be the place for bottle shares. At least it was last year.

 

I guess we can walk over to the Adelaide and do some bottle sharing LOL

It's probably a little over a mile, I advise to cross railroad tracks down to riverside by the car wash onto ysabel st to adaelaide then onto fair grounds.

2014 Attending Breweries

 

Looks solid, Jester King and Founders are nice additions.

 

Can't wait until Golden Road brings their Kolsch...

 

Weird that Devil's Backbone is on there. I moved from VA to CA in the fall so I'm really familiar with their stuff. Seems kind of out of place given the rest of the lineup but maybe they'll bring something special.

Either way, super excited for this.

 

Having gone the first two years, a few breweries might disappoint, but the festival on the whole will absolutely be world class. Here's to hoping Three Floyd's brings some barrel aged Dark Lord again, so the rest of the lines are relatively breezy.

I'm definitely not worried. Just strange to see a random brewery from the middle of VA along with those names.

 

It's a very solid list. Personally, I would have liked to have seen more turnover on the list with some smaller/newer breweries added but maybe that's because I went last year. Either way, it should be a great day.

Did you snag the early entry tickets? I wasn't able to pick any up, so I'm guessing I'll have to bypass Three Floyd's, The Bruery and Cigar City based on what I read about last years event. I was really hoping to try some of that Double Barrel Hunahpu if CC brought it.
