Expected Releases in February

I didn't say hoard, just get more than the 1 bottle of BB I was able to get last time. You don't have to be rude. And that goes for you too can_has_beer.

 

There have been 2 or 3 other people that actually said they were going to hoard BB6 when it comes out and I didn't see anyone being rude to them. How about we all get along?

For what it's worth, Bishops Barrel 1 was accidentally released to a couple of stores. Since then it's almost exclusively sold to go in bars that do growler fills.

 

People around here, especially from Dallas like Matt, don't understand that due to the population of Houston creates a need buy more than one of a limited beer lest you never see it again.

 

If we're going to throw out my opinion, please note we have the problem here in Dallas now too. And I just don't care anymore what Daemose from Houston, or anyone else, thinks of my opinion. Grabbing more than 2 bottles of a rarity is greedy.

hang on, I'm new to the BB releases. So it's only sold through bars/restaurants, for on site consumption? Maybe I won't start bugging Austin bottle shops next week. Whats this spreadsheet?

i don't remember ever having issues getting the BB releases weeks after it came out. it even sits behind glass at bars like porch swing or liberty for months.

SA typically only sends BB to restaurants or bar that are key accounts for them, that's not to say there are not some distributor screw ups along the way. It is meant to be for on site consumption, that way there is supposed to be no hoarding since you can only get what you can drink at that bar.

 

I'm definitely gonna get at least a sixer of BB6. Can't wait!
