This could be me, especially if said game is a rematch of the tight NFC championship game last year...

 

FYI, I prob won't be shipping super early. I am having hernia surgery on Monday and will be slowed for at least a few days. I will start putting the box together the following week. Cheers

 

Ouch. I had an inguinal hernia surgery about ten years ago. I was layed up for at least a few days.

 

Got my target's growler yesterday from a brewery located north of the loop. The fill was of a beer that comes around once a year...and I think this years' batch is stellar. The name of the beer is two words, both of which start with the same letter as my target's BA name. Cryptic, maybe, but why not.

 

I will be able to hit a number of my targets wants and hopefully some should be wants. Had a buddy down at the PGA golf tourney this weekend grab/trade for some beers that don't hit my distribution, and are also on the wants list for my target.

 

Picked up my growler yesterday, box will go out Tomorrow or Tuesday

Hint#1: Targets BA name and my BA name have at least 1 letter in common

 

Got my boxes together and am going to ship tomorrow. Managed to put together some nice wants and should be wants, including a growler of a fresh want that I drove up to the brewery for yesterday.

My target's posted more than once in this thread.

 

My target's package went out this morning. I, unfortunately, could not fulfill any wants. But included some really rare grabs that are often popping up on these trade forums and hopefully will have introduced him to some should-be wants from local breweries. It was a heavy package nonetheless!!!

Really enjoyed putting this together for my first BIF. I think I'm hooked now!

 

Box left today and should be delivered on Thursday.

Hint#2 Box is crossing at least 5 state lines

 

Next hint... putting my target's box together has been hard. As a first time BIFer and a relatively new craft beerer, my research indicates that my palate is not quite as evolved as his. I like a good challenge.

 

I will hit at least 2 of my targets top wants in the first 2 categories, each is from an opposite coast...then again, could change it up and hit 2 from w/in a close range....box is just about ready.

 

Hard to read all of these and try to figure out who is getting who in the end. Hell who am I kidding this is just as fun as putting the box together. Still have some shopping to do but will be ready to ship before the deadline. My target has posted in this thread a few times. Also it will be traveling at least 1500 miles to get to target.

Also in all seriousness I will be outta town on business starting Wednesday afternoon so if you have shipped to me please let me know as I would rather it not sit on the porch for 4 days.

 

Box is heading out today and should land in time for the weekend. I believe there are at least 230 oz plus in there with 5 wants including the brewery only and the off the shelf beer. There are two list beers, one is a want from last year, and the other is from the same brewery.

I think I have delt with him before...only Time will tell....I'm sure he will let me know.

 

My 2 boxes went out this morning finally. But they have a long way to go, and probably won't make it there till early next week. My target's city is supposed to be in the high 70s this upcoming weekend, but hopefully everything makes it OK.

I also forgot about the glassware thought it'd be way more sweet to order glassware direct from one of the breweries, so that will be arriving in yet another package.

Only managed to hit 2 of my target's wants, but the top 3 beers I'm sending really should be in his wants, so I'm going to count it as 5. The glasses will match a beer that came out just last week, and fits the "doesn't last long on the shelves" category.

 

I feel like that box might be headed to Richmond? Anyway, my box is nearly complete and will ship out this weekend to someone representing the Midwest region in this BIF. The box will most definitely include some beers from a up and coming brewery in town who recently had one of their beers given a perfect score by the brothers

soo I have 5 of the categories filled for my target. I have only hit 1 want but i think they will like it.
and they dont have a very big want list so that makes it harder.

The growler fill is KILLING ME- nothing I mean nothing worth putting in a growler is available in Orlando. Will have to venture out this weekend and see what I can find.
