Anyone know when the new Westbrook goodies are hitting Atlanta? Mr. Chiper, Orange Chocolate Stout, (I hope) JD Barrel Aged Quad, and the new Bearded Farmer. I know SC got it around mid December, and was wondering if anyone had any info on the A.
A shipment just went Thursday. Mr. Chipper is still brewery only for the time being, JD quad is a one off thing. If you got some in Atlanta is was probably just one keg for a special event. There is no new bearded farmer. Taylor (#4) is the last release and it's been out for months.
Damnit anyway. Thanks for the info, we haven't seen any Taylor yet in Atl, but we sometimes get bottles at weird times.
On a related topic, does anyone know if/when Westbrook is coming to VA? I thought I'd heard they were, but maybe that was just a rumor. I asked the brewery but got no response.

There is no time on that. When it's ready it's ready. Last time it was in barrels 18 months. These haven't been in the barrel a year (if I remember correctly). I wouldn't put a date on any of our barrel stuff
No. I know there are bourbon and tequila ones. Not sure about others. Honestly we are so busy doing the day to day stuff I can't remember what we put in barrels umpteen months ago.
your beer is amazing! more people need to try the limited stuff, fingers crossed for higher bottle counts!
The thought of MexiCake in tequila barrels made it hard to sleep last night. Made something else hard too.
Any word on what brand barrels these have been siting in? Is the bourbon aged going to be a single brand, or a blend?
