Huge fan of Double Jack! Also a big fan of Immortal IPA and Laurelwood's Workhorse IPA.

Fresh Squeezed! How could I forget that one? If you're a fan of fresh squeezed you should try Workhorse by Laurelwood.

My two favorites are currently Union Jack and Sculpin. However, I haven't had some of the other big ones (PtE & Y, for example).

If you don't get Alpine Nelson, this should be your replacement.

Well if it is strictly west coast, then Surly-Overrated West Coast IPA. (even though Abrasive is clearly better)

I know it's been said. but Union Jack and Racer 5 are in a league of their own. Double Jack is a knockout brew, too, but I rarely get it due to the cost.

Good to see Aroma coma a couple times in this forum by California BAs-
Once tried a reall old aroma coma and it was still amazing!

Blind pig is nothing to write home about IMO

Gotta be a tie between Pliny and Noble Ale works Citra showers - they gotta keep making that stuff!

Right now it is Drakes hopocalypse, really awesome stuff. The black label triple IPA is sooo good. The white label double ipa is just as good but different.

PtE isn't a "hop bomb". Its main characteristic is the balance. Hope this helps, lolfail

if you mean actual west coast beers, i'd say probably drake's aroma coma. or pliny the elder.

if wookey jack counts, i'll take that one too. love green flash DIPA too (summit bomb).

if VT IPAs count as "west coast style," double sunshine is the best IPA in america. every element is perfect.

no, it's extremely hoppy. sure, it's balanced, but it's objectively loaded with hops.

Most/all IPAs are "loaded with hops". In fact if you couldnt point me in the direction of one that isn't I'll be impressed. PtE isn't the bitter hop bomb that other DIPAs are. Nice fail.
