I grabbed one at TJs Beverage in Carrboro. i wasnt going to, but he just got them in, and he opened the box and asked if I wanted one to go with my 4 pack of Curmudgeon and Hanssens Experimental Raspberry. I couldnt say no.

Yard's ESA earlier while doing yard work.
Evolution Lot #3 while sitting after yard work.
Finishing up a bomber of Hop Stoopid now that I've eaten.
I'll top off the evening with a Ten Fidy and a piece of fine chocolate.
    How lucky am I?

Nice, I was considering opening one of those (and might have poured in exactly the same glass), but opted for something hoppy instead.

I'm drinking Bitter Valentine from Williamsburg Alewerks, which is quite tasty.

Thanks, I definitely am. I haven't had the regular 4D in almost 2 years so when I saw some I knew I had to pick up a few bottles.

Started with a Troegs Sunshine Pils, excellent as always.

Then a reasonably fresh Southern Tier 2XIPA, very nice indeed.

Next will be a La Folie- really looking forward to that one.

Got MST3Ks Parts: The Clonus Horror and the latest Game of Thrones all queued up. TGIF.

You know, both this and KBS are the 2 beers that I would most want to enjoy by the fire pit. Not sure why, but a perfect match! Throw in some S'mores and it's golden!

I really like that one- pretty easy drinker for a doppelbock, but also pulls no punches. I'm starting to see displays of their beers (including the Neuschwansteiner, really good Helles, and Holzer, pretty good dunkel). I figure, since the distributor is making a recent push, now is about the as good a time as any to get some. Years ago you just used to find a dusty bottle here and there.
