Hopslam (2014) in Miami?

I plan on hitting Total Wine Boca sometime this morning, will post any results when I get back

 

My dad actually went and bought it for us to share. Since we go there pretty often, they gave us a six pack for $21. I think they were planning on breaking most of it into singles, unfortunately.

 

Just called Boca TW, talked to Jane, she said they weren't getting it in.
I don't know whether to believe that or not, I've been told the same thing before and it's proven to be false.

 

They've probably received a lot of calls about it and are sick of it. I highly doubt TW of all places wouldn't get any.

 

Crown in boca had it, and ABC in pompano had it as well

 

TW Boca and Boynton had it and have already sold out. Palm Beach Gardens did get their delivery earlier this week and it is sold out there. Kendall will receive their delivery next week. All other stores still scheduled for today.

 

That fast? I was there literally 15 minutes ago and they had just unloaded it.

Jane (the person who answered when I called TW) had it wrong, they in fact got it in, thanks to a facebook post I managed to see I left and had to wait around 10 minutes or so while they unloaded it.

 

Tw 17th Street has a couple cases left, just grabbed some for myself.

 

TW Boca is definitely not sold old yet , my buddy just got a sixer.

 

TW Boca had about 4 more sixers behind the counter that I saw. Just left about 5 minutes ago.

 

I got my hands on some today.... woot woot

Ended up getting stuck at work and not being able to hit TW Boca. I am not pleased to say the least.

 

I noticed some today behind the service counter at the 17th St. TW in Ft. Laud. I was there at noon. They also had CCB Cubano Espresso. Got one pack of each.

 

Man, building relationships with your beer/wine guy or gal is so key. Walked into my fav beer spot today and had a 6 pack waiting for me. I had all but given up hope too. Looking forward to trying this for the first time

 

TW Boynton had like 6 cases when I stopped in at noon today, Still no Sucks though!

As of late it's seems I agree with you on everything. I bought two sixers yesterday, and am considering returning the second one today. I've never returned a six pack before, but I just don't feel the value is here at 20.00/per.

 

I took his post as just kidding around. I agree the price is a bit high, but this ale is not bad, IMO. It's high in ABV and although the hops don't slap you in the face or palate, it does have quite an unique, subtle profile.
I'll enjoy my sixer and next year got another.
I'm having one now as I type.
