Fuh-Guurbs doesn't really roll off the tongue like "Fibbbs", but I like the cut of your jib.

Camping in the Yoop should never make a man upset.

I believe they entered even more new sales territories (States) this year once again...thus more beer was produced but has to be spread even wider than years past....

In my opinion this sounds AWESOME! Hope this pleases the locals...if not, then I guess they cannot be pleased.

Maybe they want to spread it out to more people rather than having people walking about with case(s). If you don't want to drive multiple hours to enjoy Grand Rapids as whole then that is your loss. It is one of the best BEER city destinations out there. Plenty of good bars, breweries and shenanigans. I applaud Founders in turning the KBS release into a WEEK long event, spreading amongst several bars in the city.

A move in the right direction for sure.

Maybe next year they take a page out of Goose Islands book and do a GR only release of Devils Cut?

No, those yurts get booked up the moment reservations can be made, but about 3 years ago we discovered Craig lake state park, somewhat beer related since it was one time the private fishing retreat of the Fred Miller, when he died in a plane crash the family sold it to the state of MI. Hike a bunch of beer in, spend the day snow shoeing the back country then sit around the yurt sharing bottles we have picked up since the last time we got together.

Man, there is no satisfying some people. If I lived in GR I would be grateful. I live in the Detroit area and look forward to figuring something out. Obviously KBS day itself at the Brewery is gonna be nuts.

eh, im not worried about it really. last year my bar got a sixth barrel that sat on tap for 8 days before tapping. pretty sure i drank half of it myself. between that and bb9k lasting 6 days at the place down the street, it was all i needed for the year. not to mention, im not going to drive 6 hours to pick up beer that i send out as extras when i can only buy 8 bottles. not worth it, and definitely not a loss in my book

If I lived within driving distance of Founders, I would be there in a heartbeat. Prolly just gonna do what I did last year and trade for 3x 4pks. So much easier!

maybe at certain bars, but at founders they will be around $6 for 10 oz pours, not too shabby.
