Had a nice start to my Valentine's Day Kneit.

Switching over to red wine and Döner Kebap, though, because I know how to do Valentine's Day right.

Oh, and wait I had something for this... Oh yeah.

Believe it! Remember how @twizzard was head over heels for ghandi bot? If it isn't malheur 12 then for @Shroud0fdoom it's this double dose! That's all I hear - double dose this . . . double dose that . . . :stuck_out_tongue:

    (LOL!)

When you play the piano your intentions, your body and it's movements, your feelings as they are interpreted by the listener- are the music. But when you play the flute, your breath is the music. =)

Drinking a DirtWolf before I eventually move on to a bigger and better beer later.

That's better. Pilsner as a pilsner should be. Wonderfully dry yet with a malt backbone, with the bitterness surpassing the dry malts, and a herbal hoppiness binding it together.

Might go all political and Olympic and opt for a BrewDog 'My Name is Validimir'.
    Or a 750 of Speedway.
    Or both.

Over in the Hi-Res thread, someone said they were doing this. I thought it was brilliant. Well, now we shall see: be it brilliance, or be it madness? Or maybe a little from column A, a little from column B....

    First, the ingredients:

    The chosen glass:

The finished product (~1/2 a can each; go figure):

Top-down view (reminds me of the space shuttle rockets):

OK, so down to the details. This includes one can of fresh Hi-Res, and one can of Resin in its last enjoy by month. These cans of Resin have been showing their age significantly, although they're still drinkable. For absolutely no reason, I think I'm calling my version Tri-Res (I heard Bi-Res offered in the forums, and that sounds like a soft-core **** sci-fi B-flick).

How does it drink? Very well, in fact. The boozy heat from Hi-Res is still present, seemingly undampened; the malt profiles go well together; and the more resiny hop profile from Resin definitely cuts down a little bit on the massive juicy hop profile of Hi-Res.

This might be worth trying with a fresh can of Resin, if you're so inclined.

    Cheers!

Quakerbridge, an American barleywine. My last beer before I get something to eat and head home.
