Zombie Dust in WI?

Downer marks up everything on the singles rack, and then you get a 10% discount if you buy 6 (maybe 4, I don't remember). I think on most beers, the discount gets you back to the six-pack price. Downer also charges 12.99 for FFF six-packs.

I seem to recall $2.99 per bottle when it show up at Downer in November, but I could be wrong.

So, for Zombie Dust, at what price per bottle does it become "selfish intent or profiteering"?

 

My buddy bought a 6 pack of ZD at Discount Milwaukee yesterday, but they are sold out today. I called Discount Waukesha and they said it hasn't come in yet. Sounds like they'll get it later, though I did see 2 cases of Victory Dirtwolf come in when I was there.

 

I feel unqualified to make that call... I just know at $2 a bottle it definitely was not.

 

Those bastards! I had to make 3 trips across town to get half a 6 pack... (not really bent about it)... probably all in which employee you're able to get a hold of. Call my company and ask the same question to 10 people and no doubt you'll get plenty of different answers.

 

Victory seems timid about releasing this beer in Wisco. Sees plenty of distribution on the East Coast.

 

FFF increased their price +4$ a case this year. Atleast bottle dates are on the bottles now I guess....

 

Grabbed a 4pk of Dirtwolf at Discount Waukesha today. Finally!

 

Just picked up a 6 pack of ZD (2/4 bottle date) for $12 at Discount Waukesha, 1 sixer limit. Also picked up a 4 pack of Victory Dirtwolf.

 

The ZD singles at Downer are $2.99 each.

 

Bit of a steep markup. Can't fault them, but I wouldn't pay $18 for a six-pack.

 

I picked up 2 bottles at Downer earlier.

 

Whole Foods usually gets ZD as well. Anybody spot it there?

 

My friend went there an hour or two ago and nada.

 

I think they only had a case, so a 50 cent to a dollar markup is whatever to me.... plus it's the only store within walking distance that had it, so I can't be too choosy ha.

 

Discount did the one bottle thing again? Kind of sick of driving over there and getting only one bottle of what I'm looking for, like pt5, when other places are readily selling full packs. Last time discount got ZD they were selling 6 packs which seemed pretty normal to me.

edit: somehow I mixed up discount and downer. i stopped shopping at downer a long time ago, anyway.

 

It'll be in Madison next week-ish, but pretty limited.

 

saw t on tap today,,, passed. I worked at a bar that had it regularly. It isn't that great.
