205 Different Beers Since Sep

I really don't keep track numberwise, but there's a rolodex in my head that keeps track of every beer I've tried. I like to review and give my thoughts on a beer, but I don't review every beer I drink. I agree that festivals are a great way to try a bunch of different beers in a short amount of time, if that's your thing. I personally think it's better to appreciate the beer, then just look at it as another beer to add to the list. But I totally understand and appreciate the "ticker" mentality.

I'm not at 200 yet, counting since around Summer 2010, but probably because I have restraint, and because I like to repeat buy what I already like.

 

According to Untappd, I'm about to hit my 1000 uniques milestone.

Been drinking craft beer for meany years, only signed up for untappd April 8th 2012 however. 74 Unique, I don't usually checkin to repeats so my toatal is way off.

I am at 945 beers since September.

 

You have no idea how serious I am son, and I don't use untappd!

 

I should be up to 300 this week since January of 2011. That's when I started getting into craft and I'm glad to be in the hobby but sadly I still for some reason value my waistline too much to just go crazy on the stuff. Ditto the wallet. I too have learned a lot in the past year, about styles, production and personal taste. Mostly I've learned that I cannot do really bitterly hoppy beers and really do have my tastes influenced by the seasons.

 

Okay. Although the point of my comment was in no way alluding to the fact that you must have the app to be a serious beer drinker. But if you were offended and need further explanation, I simply meant that it is an app that is particularly useful for serious beer drinkers.

 

I just learned today what a Ticker is, and that I am one. Not sure if it is a bad thing or not.

I joined and used for about a month in March 2011, then took a couple months off and "re-upped" this year.

not to play the my dicks bigger game, but Ive been on for 15 months and im at 410 beers reviewed. Been on untappd since December and am at 381. I still feel like I know nothing and am way behind.
