Visit to Edinburgh bars to go to

    Hi All

    I am visiting Edinburgh next week primarily to go to the Kitchin in Leith. I will be there for a couple of nights. The bars I have my eyes on are Brewdog and the Hanging Bat can you guys recomend any others to visit whilst there.

    Teuchters Landing, also in Leith. Blue Blazer, Bow bar, Halfway House... we could be here all day

    The Kitchin is superb. Lunch is great and good value but their A'La Carte menu is a real treat. Shame we're no longer in game season though.

    The BA UK boys have done a great job recommending pubs. The Bow Bar is my top choice not to be missed and its in the vicinty of BrewDog. Cloisters is worthy too. Also, if by any chance are in Musselburgh then Staggs The Volunteer Arms is an absolute must.

    When exactly are you in Edinburgh this week?

    Thanks, we are just doing the lunch menu. Tuesday and Wednesday.

    I agree my two not to miss places are Bow Bar (especially if you like Scotch) and Brew dog, but I highly recommend venturing out to Clositers as well for a great Scottish pub and some cask ales.

    ps I will be back again the first week of June for 5-6 days if anyone wants to meet up for a beer and/or trade/share some beers.
