Thought i had gotten a nice deal on it for $58/case, after what i'd been hearing about prices. until the local place i had requested a case from called me up, i went in not knowing what it was gonna set me back... Lo and behold, it rings up $39.96 plus tax. Holy shit! Sadly, it was one of only two cases they were alotted and the other was spoken for. I almost felt guilty, like it was mispriced or something.

The 6er I bought ate up a $20 with a little spare change left over. IMO way over priced.

Finally found some in Tampa FL area yesterday. Luckily they held 2 6 packs for me bc by the time I got there 8 hrs after I received the call that it was in stock it was gone. Paid $17.99/6 pack, glad I wasn't raped on the price. Had to drive an hr to get it but it was worth it in the long run!

Just bought my first six pack yesterday, $ 21.00 and $3.50 a bottle roughly is well worth it. Never have I had such a well balanced complex 10 percent ale hopped up sip after sip. I had to jump on it when I saw it at World Market which is a store like pier one with beer and wine. I can see why Bells puts a lot of professionalism in their beers.

I see a lot of people commenting how Hopslam is overpriced. I guess we have different definitions of the term. If a beer is overpriced, I am not buying it. It seems like a lot of those who are saying it is overpriced still, for some reason, are spending the money. I guess its not really that overpriced now, is it?

I've heard unofficially that as of this last Thursday Bell's is sold out of Hopslam in bottles. So what's out there is it.

I'm drinking a Centennial Slam right now, half Hop Slam half Founders Centennial, and it's damned good.

The local Kroger had sixers for 14.99 so I had to get one more. Glad I did this stuff is so good

I think people claiming to it be overpriced are those who got gouged big time. Now I can see the person who spent $20+ for a six pack to think it isn't worth it (it really isn't at that point), but anything under $16 a six pack is actually a pretty decent price. If you figure the fact that most double IPA's are in 4 pack for $10-13, that puts them at about $15-20 a sixer on average. Hell, given the enormous quality of this one, the higher ABV, and the fact it's limited to like 4-6 week shelf life before it disappears, I'd say it's quite a bit cheaper than most. Besides Lagunita's Sucks =D

Got a sixer, the second one I opened must have been cracked because when I went pop the cap, half of mouth of the bottle came off with the cap.

A bit off topic but, i'm drinking a part founder's imperial stout & part cw brewhouse coffee stout that i combined last night, then fell asleep before drinking, so it lost it's bubblies.. so, i poured in about a 30% mix of vanilla bean buffalo sweat due to it's hefty carbonation, it's pretty excellent. I was sitting here wondering if making unique mixes was normal or i'm just a weird guy. Then i read this post. I loooooove me some centennial, i'm gonna follow your suit and try that combo tomorrow.
