Got to try some Vengeful Heart today at a visit to the brewey and it was great, i went to get a growler of one of their IPAs and walked away with a growler of it instead. They had a great selection of stuff on tap as well, alot of it barrel aged which was nice. They had a barrel aged peach ale, barrel aged overhead, driftwood (which is a barrel aged version of their brown ale) and also a barrel aged imperial stout. This place is definitely worth a visit if you get a chance. We are about 45 minutes away from it and the NJ outlets are close to it...an easy way to talk your girl or wife into popping by the brewery after doing some AM shopping on a Saturday.

Man, I wish Cloverleaf was near a train or something. No way i'd be able to drive home after seeing that list!

The Night to End all Dawns - vanilla stole the show for me. What an impressive one off beer.

Had the ANTEAD, Vengeful Heart Rum Oak BW and BA Solitude Belgian Dark Strong ale. All were excellent. Wanted to try the ANTEAD Vanilla but it kicked before I got there. Great stuff nonetheless.

Anybody have any idea of how far Kane beer ever drifts into New York, if at all?

It's made it to Jersey City occasionally. I'd say that is close to New York.

Kane self distributes, so by law they can't go outside of NJ.

They're looking at distributors but from what Michael Kane told me over the summer they don't know how they quite feel yet with how much control distributors get. SO they really need to feel good about a distributor before that'll happen.
